Event Name : World Environment Day

Event Date : 5th June 2022

Event Description : To mark the occasion of World Environment 
Day on 5th June 2022, the VESIT Students Club under 
AICTE SPICE scheme organized an online quiz competition
and essay competition for all VESIT students.
The theme was 'Only One Earth: Living sustainability
in Harmony with Nature'.
For the Quiz completion, a total of 70
entries were received and all the successful candidates 
were awarded an E-Certificate.
The Essay competition, which had a word limit of
500 words, had 14 participants, all of whom were awarded an
E-Certificate.
The top three winners had cash prizes of ₹500, ₹300,
and ₹200 for the First, Second, and Runner–up respectively. Ms.
Shoba Krishnan, HOD (Retd), EXTC Department evaluated the essays 
and declared the winners.
          

     The names of the winners are as Follows : 
    Winner:-Puja Mahankuda (D9B)-Prize Money Rs500.
    1st Runner up:-Aakanksha Jadhav(D14A)-Prize Money Rs300.
    2nd Runner up:-Vallari Patil(D10B)-Prize Money Rs200.
