Event Description :Maharashtra has a rich history of powerful rulers, including the renowned Chhathrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Despite facing numerous invasions and conflicts, Shivaji Maharaj emerged as a great leader, establishing a robust empire based on his strong principles and morals.On February 9th, 2023, the Vesit Students' Club organized a Musical Drama 'Prabho Shivaji Raja' showcasing the life of Chhathrapati Shivaji Maharaj, in collaboration with VESIT EBSB, VESIT Cultural Council, VESIT Music Council, and VESIT PhotoCircle. The event took place at the college auditorium at 10:30 am, with VESIT PhotoCircle capturing the musical drama. The event commenced with a speech from Dr. Geeta Ajith and Dr. Prashant Kannade, and concluded with a vote of thanks. The vote of thanks expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to the successful execution of the event. The lighting, background setting and the props needed for the drama were well-managed, and life of Chhathrapati Shivaji Maharaj was skillfully executed, with attention to detail and accuracy. After the program, Principal J.M Nair expressed appreciation for all the participants. The program was broadcasted on Apla Maharashtra channel of DD Sahyadri on the day of Shivaji Jayanthi. The event received high praise from students who attended it, as they appreciated the efforts put into the production of the musical drama. In conclusion, the portrayal of Shivaji Maharaj's life was captivating and engaging, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
